eenie, meenie, miney, moe...

I have so many things started in my little studio. 

It seems I am good at starting things right now, but not finishing them. 

I have these half made paper bowls, just waiting for me to play with them ....

I also have some pretty papers sewn onto plain paper.....

and some metal pieces stamped with leaves.... 

this needed to happen before our leaves were gone for the year 

and while I was at it I thought I better stamp some rocks

and then this piece of fabric caught my eye....

and although I am not sure why,

 a roll of wire decided to join in the fun. 

So, I have given myself strict instructions....

no new projects can get started before I finish some of these. 

I know myself better than to say I have to finish ALL of them :) 

I hope to share a finished project soon!

Summer's Over.....

Yes summer is over, and so is fall, 

so I spent this snowy day remembering some places

I enjoyed this summer..... 

Oh what fun we had!!!

My plan is to share some creative things in a few days....

Wanderings

In case you are wondering what I have been up to.....

I have been spending time doing two of my favourite things....

 wandering in nature

and spending time with this girl.

Yukon Flora Jewelry

My summertime jewelry has been a long time coming,

but I finally finished a few pieces. 

I collected leaves from wild plants growing in the area, and then

used them as stamps to decorate pieces of reclaimed metal. 

1st pair - stamped with Willow leaves

2nd pair - stamped with leaves from Jacob's Ladder

3rd pair - stamped from Yarrow leaves

I then displayed them on cards that included 

the name of the plant I used for stamping. 

I also made a few long necklaces....

...and still have a number of stamped metal pieces ready to make more jewelry. 

But, today I was happy to be able to take these pieces to

 Acacia Vintage  - a lovely little local shop that sells a few of my creations. 

Grafted Collages

I continue gluing together bits of decorated paper to make these collages.

Here you can see the small 3X4 inch creations I shared on my last post,

beside the 6X6 inch creation I have just finished. 

I mounted these collages on wooden box frames 

that can be hung on a wall or displayed on a shelf. 

And here is the finished pile. 

I wonder where my creative muse will take me next......
