Collision

My bird drawings have collided with my tea bags

I love finding the just right tea bag to match up with the bird.
Using the tea stains to enhance the bird.

Drawings that are more detailed, often get a tea bag that isn't stained too much,
or the stains occur in areas that enhance the drawing.

So far I am enjoying all of the collisions

  1. Oh my goodness Kim, these are fantastic! It's a real treat to see them all together like this. Your blog posts always make me appreciate nature so much more than I already do!

I looked at your previous posts too...loved the smiling faces...your sweet daughter and her lovely moccasins you made for her...your beautiful home (with a killer view!!!)...all those lovely trees and mountains in your part of the world. Enjoyed it all.

Leaving now feeling inspired and refreshed. Happy day to you.

  3. They are gorgeous! At first I thought you tea stained the paper but then I realized you drew them on the tea bags! So much detail in such a small space. You are very talented.

  11. your recent post inspired me to look back at your bird projects, they are each gorgeous treasures to behold.
will you share, do you draw each bird anew on your teabags and rocks? Or have you found a way to transfer your precious creatures? They are all eye candy for sure.
