Lovely to see your work over the year. I may not often have commented but it was always a pleasure to visit. When I look at your card with it’s trees, I’m struck by how similar the basic image is to the card over on my blog - but I’d love to know how you got that beautiful subtle-coloured ground!
Thanks for your comment and for visiting my blog! I loved seeing your card tree as well. The subtle coloured ground was part photograph, part computer manipulation. The trees are right beside a lake, and the day was a bit foggy - this helped keep the composition simple. There was also some snow on the ground - but not too much to cover the grasses yet. From there I used the picassa program to manipulate the colour on the ground and around the edge of the image. - Hope that helps!
lovely!
ReplyDeleteAnd the same to you! Enjoy your holiday! :D (lovely photo!)
