Carving Stamps Again!

I get inspiration from many blogs, and I was really inspired to try my hand at carving face stamps from Lynne Hoppe. Her stamps are much different (and oh so lovely) than mine, but I am happy with how mine turned out.

I haven't carved too many stamps before.... but here was the first face I attempted.

I stamped it onto random pieces of paper and fabric,

and decided to carve another one.

here you can see my original drawing - the carved stamp and some prints I made.

I don't know what was more fun - carving the stamps or playing with them after they were carved.

I would have carved more, but ran out of time.... I do hope to have some more play time soon!
