More Plaster Practice

And here is my latest plaster piece. I worked on it slowly over the past week, and finished it today.

I sat and looked at it for a long time when it was
at this stage. . . . . . not sure where to take it from here.

And this is where it ended up. It took me lots of time, but I continue to learn and enjoy, so all is good.

And one more close up - Just because.. .. .. ..

  2. THese are really intriguing, Kim. I've been trying to work on joint compound on board, and then layering with encaustic medium. What are the paints you are using on plaster? Watercolor? Oil?

  3. I love the fact that you take your time, you reflect upon what you are doing. Rush is not in your vocabulary. It really shows. This is a stunning piece of plaster art!
