Well after many days you would think I would have lots to show.... but that is not the case, I only have one piece to post.
Again this piece was a challenge for me, but I learned a lot and am happy with how it turned out. I had trouble photographing this piece and trying to keep the colours true to the piece. The real piece is darker in the bottom corner.

Wow! It's georgeous! I can't wait to see what's next!
ReplyDeleteHey Kim, I am loving the results of you slapping plaster onto boards! wonderful work!
ReplyDeleteHope you and your family have a great 4th weekend!
Beautiful work, Kim! I love the soft ethereal look of your style. The simplicity of the composition and the deep rich saturated colors complement each other. Keep it up; I think you’re really on to something with your plaster pieces!
ReplyDelete(PS What is ‘cradle board’?)
One doesn't need dozens of pieces, but to enjoy the process and learn as one goes along. And you are obviously learning. Red always captures my heart! This is a very lovely piece you should be proud to put on your blog.
