It's Fireweed Season

I love fireweed season 

and I thought I would share a few photos I have taken of them

 as well as a few pictures of places I have been recently.

And a summertime selfie to finish it off!

Profile Change

I have used the above image of myself for my online profile picture

for a number of years now....

but it doesn't really look like me anymore. 

The years have flown by and my face has more wrinkles and my hair has more grey in it. 

I have happily earned both of those things and thought it was time to share them online.  

So .... here's the new older me.

Playing with Birds

I really enjoy incorporating my drawings into collage. 

The bird in this creation is a copy of a drawing I did sometime ago. 

I then added bits and pieces and some scribbles to create this piece.

Below is a bit of the original drawing as well as another creation this bird has shown up in.
