My drawings of birds and my love of using tea bags in my creations collided this week and ended up as the images below.
I transfered my drawings onto the teabags and then painted them
but I didn't want the colour to show up too much
which is always easier said then done (0r at least for me)
I mounted them on a piece of watercolour paper.
I am pretty sure I am not done with these yet.... but that is all for today.
I am hoping to add them to my Etsy Shop today.
Beautiful Kim! I am always so inspired by your tea bag creations. I have lots of tea bags saved that I keep in a cigar box. They are so fun to work with. Your art is so beautiful as always.
ReplyDeleteThese are really lovely!
ReplyDeleteThese are just so beautiful in a subtle and graceful way, and your scavenger book article was fantastic. xox Corrine
ReplyDeleteThe soft diffuse texture on these is amazing. You never cease to amaze me with the consistency of your style with whatever you set about to creating.
